I just spent about 3 hours trying to figure out how to get a filk CD in my Amazon Music Library. (This is relevant, because Amazon does not sell these songs, so it is not possible to upload them in the file types that my ripper copies the down in.) The information that those files are not uploading because Amazon does not have them in their sales is not easily available. I needed to google it a couple of times and eventually was lucky enough to hit on the right word combination. Then I had to find a ripping program on my computer that would rip files in MP3 format. It exists. In fact, it is the Window Media Player. However, if you put in a CD, another program comes up automatically. It does not have a rippling function. If you open the CD in the file manager, you can right-click on it, and a ripper program will offer to rip the CD for you. However, this program does not rip the files as MP3. So, I had to google how to rip my music in MP3 before Google pointed me towards Window Media Player. And then it took me about 30 minutes to figure how to set it to rip MP3 and to send the files somewhere I would be able to find them. (Incidentally, Amazon Uploader is capable of seeing the folder where the music album is, but not actual files. So you cannot see what type of files they are. So you have to pick the album and take it on faith that there is something in there.)

There is absolutely no reason to make this shit so complex. None.

At least downloading this music to my phone from Amazon Music was easy. Because I already spent a couple of hours trying to figure it out with previous music files.
