Yesterday, the work had racism training. Er, wait, that did not come out right.

Yesterday, the work had an anti-racism training. It was interesting, and no one made us roleplay, which is always a plus in my book.

Of course I spent $20 for lunch in a diner (the milkshake sucked) and then found and e.l.f. store and spent some money there too. I thought to walk to Union Square B&N and spend yet more money, but it was hot, so I didn't. Instead I tried to go down to the subway to go home and did not pay enough attention--I ended up getting in the station for the trains going in the wrong direction. After I checked he map, I realized that you pretty much could not cross to another platform in the next three stops, so I got out, walked and spent extra money to get back again. Granted, it's not a lot of money, but it's the principle of the thing!

I have started to watch "10 Cloverfield Lane" over the weekend. Mind you, I am spoiled for this movie, but I just can't get excited for anything these days. And I don't want to watch a horror movie before going to bed.

I am still reading Kim Harrison's "The Operator". I am not overly found of the gimmick of the book, because I think it is stupid rather than clever, but I would have gone along with it, if I was not tired of every single character being unlikable and untrustworthy. It's a very tiring book to read.

It was raining as I went to work, so I wore my rubber boots. The right boot is weirdly uncomfortable in the foot bed. The left boot is so huge I have to put three pairs of socks on. *facepalm* Of course, since my foot hurt, both trains were packed to the rafters and I had to stand. Tuesday, you are on fucking notice.
